Location: Hybrid Perrysburg, OH and Napoleon, OH: up to 60% travel
Position Title: Technical Sales Engineer

Position Summary:
We’re seeking a high-performing Technical Sales Engineer with experience in capital equipment, automation, or engineering services to drive new business and grow long-term client relationships. This high impact position plays a critical role in driving new business growth, expanding existing customer relationships, and aligning technical solutions with customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and secure new customers in target markets.
- Cold call, network, and leverage referrals to open doors with decision-makers.
- Attend industry events and conduct outbound sales outreach campaigns.
Account Management
- Build strong, ongoing relationships with current clients to generate repeat business.
- Act as the liaison between clients and internal project/application teams.
- Ensure satisfaction through proactive follow-up, support, and responsiveness.
Sales Process Execution
- Manage the entire sales cycle from discovery to close.
- Lead initial client meetings, gather project scope, and coordinate internal quoting.
- Present proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and close contracts.
- Maintain accurate records and pipeline visibility in Zoho CRM.
Strategic Contribution
- Provide client and market feedback to improve offerings and positioning.
- Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns and customer case studies.
- Help refine our sales process and KPIs to improve conversion rates.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- New Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Client Retention: Maintain and grow assigned accounts through proactive engagement.
- CRM Accuracy: Maintain 100% data accuracy in Zoho CRM for opportunities and activities.
- Quote Responsiveness: Meet company standards for quote turnaround times in collaboration with the estimating team.
Position Requirements:
- Experience closing projects over $100k, ideally with long sales cycles
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and accountability.
- 5+ years of experience selling technical or capital solutions to industrial clients (e.g., automation, controls, robotics, systems integration, engineering services)
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts.
- Experience using CRM systems (Zoho preferred) for sales management.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Travel to client sites across NW Ohio and the Midwest is essential to build strong relationships and deliver hands-on discovery
- Relevant sales or industry certifications are a plus.

Electrical Designer

Job Summary:
As an Electrical Designer, you are responsible for executing successful electrical design projects, meeting client requirements, and adhering to industry standards. You will manage design project timelines, budgets, and resources while also providing technical guidance and mentoring your team members.
- The Electrical Designer leads the electrical design team, ensuring successful project delivery, client satisfaction, and adherence to industry standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of electrical designers and technicians to deliver high-quality electrical designs.
- Project Planning & Execution: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conceptual design through detailed design, documentation, and handover to the construction team.
- Scope Management: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
Design and Technical:
- Design Expertise: Apply advanced knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards to develop and review electrical designs (NEC, UL508A, safety).
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to the team, addressing questions, troubleshooting issues, and resolving design conflicts.
- Staying Current: Keep abreast of the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electrical design.
Client Relations:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective communication and build strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Requirements Management: Translate client requirements into detailed electrical design specifications.
- Client Support: Address client inquiries, provide project updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
Compliance and Standards:
- Code Compliance: Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure designs are accurate and reliable.
- Safety: Prioritize safety in all aspects of design and construction.
Financial Management:
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Time Management: Ensure efficient use of team resources and project time.

Job Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Electrical Design or related field.
- 5+ years of electrical design experience at a system integration company
- 2+ years in a leadership or project management role.
- In-depth knowledge of NEC, UL508A, and relevant electrical codes/standards.
- Proficiency with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- BOM creation and documentation
- Industrial automation knowledge
Preferred Qualifications (can be a plus, but not always required):
- TÜV Safety Experience a plus
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and lean principles.

Purchasing Agent
Location: Napoleon, Ohio (primary) and Perrysburg, Ohio (secondary)

Job Summary:
The Purchasing Agent is primarily responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for systems integration and various types of engineering projects. This role ensures cost-effective and timely purchasing while maintaining quality and compliance with project specifications. The Purchasing Agent works closely with engineering, project management, and finance teams to support operational goals. Ancillary responsibilities include scheduling and managing company asset maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with project and company objectives.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on price, quality, service, and delivery capabilities.
- Monitor supplier performance and address quality or delivery issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to understand material requirements.
- Review technical specifications and ensure purchased goods meet project needs.
- Maintain procurement budgets and cost control; periodic random price checking of high-use or high value items.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Coordinate building, equipment and vehicle maintenance as needed; establish tracking system for items needing to be put on a maintenance schedule.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Budget Adherence (actual spend vs budgeted spend) Goal > 98%
- Purchase Order Accuracy (accurate POs vs total POs; accurate PO matches invoice and receipt) Goal > 95%
- PO Cycle Time (time it takes in days to convert a purchase requisition to a PO) Goal <2 business days
- Supplier Lead Time (time in days between issuing and PO and receiving the order) Goal < 5 days
- Return Rate (returned items in applicable UOM vs total items received) Goal < 5%
- Number of Suppliers per Category (used to assess risk in negotiations) Goal 1-3

Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with technical drawings and engineering terminology.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or project-based purchasing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- The capacity to understand and manage their own emotions and recognize and influence the emotions of others, crucial for team alignment and conflict resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, ideally in an engineering, construction, or manufacturing environment.
- Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CPM, CPSM, CIPS).
- Prior experience working in a company that has fully implemented EOS or previous experience as an EOS Integrator.
